Chemotherapy and Blood Disorder Treatment in Hickory, NC
Our nursing staff consists of a team of oncology-certified nurses who are dedicated to seeing that their patients are provided with the utmost professional care and consideration. Under physician supervision, the nurses professionally administer chemo infusions, blood disorder management, symptom management, and supportive care using IV fluids and medication delivered with love and compassionate care.
Treatment Rooms
The nurses care for our patients in a treatment wing that consists of nineteen treatment areas. Four hospital designed rooms with beds are used for patients whose treatments last over an extended period of hours or for those patients who have special needs. Fifteen additional semi-private rooms are available for patients receiving shorter treatments, each equipped with heated reclining treatment chairs and a privacy curtain. TVs are also mounted in each treatment room and a family member is usually allowed to remain with the patient.
After finishing a treatment, our patients then have the luxury of going back home the same day with family and friends.
