Since opening its doors in 1983, Carolina Oncology Specialists, P.A. has continued to expand its staff and facilities to meet the needs of the patients of Hickory and the surrounding area. In July of 2008, the practice relocated to a newly constructed, state of the art facility on McDonald Parkway at Tate Boulevard. Conveniently located, we are easily accessible from I-40 and other connecting thoroughfares. Our patients experience the convenience of in-clinic chemotherapy treatments, as well as the treatment and management of blood disorders.
The nursing team administers professional compassionate care and support to our patients, while the office employees provide assistance with insurance and billing questions and issues. Our board certified physicians, together with supporting nurse practitioners and physician assistants, are on staff and admit to both Catawba Memorial Hospital and Frye Regional Medical Center.
